The software can be also used to control Alpha 3 and the software is used to translate the analogue value of the control settings from Kontakt (or any other software that uses Kontakt as input).

Alpha 3 can be used as a standalone synthesizer. The software allows you to sync up alpha 3 with i.e. MODELRAP, ARTISAN, STRATADRUM, MODEL ORBITA.
