Office Pro 11 has the stylus as a native device, which makes life much easier than the pen-based solutions from competing manufacturers.
Despite its apparent age and familiarity, Photoshop Elements is still an essential tool for doing DVD mastering. We were pleased to hear that Adobe isn’t just content with shrinking it down to the cheap tablet and smartphone variety. It continues to improve the interface and support features. Adobe is also working on a new, web-based version, to make it easier for people to create and share photos and documents online.
My brief exploration of Photoshop Elements suddenly hit a large wall. I reached the bottom of the page when I tried to view the Web 2.0 features. I’m not sure why this stopped me, but it did. It’s one of the lesser issues, but simply not having the ability to work with non-destructive web-based stuff drives me crazy. The new web features, added since this review, do, in fact, make improvements, especially when it comes to publishing, although that’s one of the few exceptions to the general difficulty in working on the web.

The changes begin with the most-used interface and tools, including a new, simplified interface and keyboard shortcuts, a revamped image browser, and a single-click ‘fill’ tool. New image exposure control options – In some cases users have required extra control over the image exposure.
